Tune in to Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse tonight at 9 est and keep my blog up as I will be updating with my thoughts on the show as it airs! To read my thoughts simply refresh the page!

Okay everyone take your bathroom breaks now and crack a fresh beer because it’s time for Dollhouse!
Is it possible that Eliza’s acting has gotten worse since Buffy?
Corney token of love….check.
Wait, why were they not reprimanded for driving motorcycles into a Chinese restaurant?
So is this set in the 70s? That dude is wearing a leisure suit.
I’m seeing definite similarities between La Femme Nikita and Dark Angel right now.
Oh Eliza…soooo bad.
Made it to the intro…so far I’m not impressed. Then again Buffy took a full season to get good.
Okay so I think that the main purpose of this show is to put Eliza in as many different contorted positions as possible that might make her look busty.
With names like Sierra and Echo I think that many celebrity children would feel right at home on this show.
Yeah Helo!
I will say I love the idea of treating the human mind as an analog tape. Imprinting information onto it when needed then mind wiping when the mission is over. No fear of psychological strain, no leaked information…a perfect soldier.
Wow, lost of BSG references…I like.
Eliza portraying a strong willed woman seems a little forced to me, a lot of nonsensical chatter to fill time.
The one with the mask…homage to Tiny from House of 1000 Corpses?
I don’t know if I would ever approach someone in a bathroom…even if I was a cop…too much risk for wang exposure.
Yes this is very La Femme Nikita…especially the code word part.
Quickly becoming more and more interesting.
It was slow rolling to start with because we were interested to three characters embodied in one…I wasn’t sure which one the show would follow, but now that there is conflict between a personality and the case its gripping. I hope these commercials end soon!
Much better Eliza…much better acting.
So for an incredibly slow opener for the series I’m glad to say that by the time that the ending credits rolled I was hooked. I really love the title “Dollhouse” and how it applies to the “agents” that live there. Joss Whedon you are the effin king…now just get Nathon Fillion as a guest star in an ep and I’ll be all set! Meet back here next Friday where I will liveblog episode 2! Now it’s time for The Soup.

Feb 13th, 2009Love the live blog idea…I read all your comments while I watched and they were pretty much right on in my opinion. The show was awful and the acting was like nails on a chalkboard. No more “Dollhouse” for me.
