After graduating in 2006 from Ball State University with a B.A. in Telecommunications, Andrew moved to Michigan. He worked in several different professions ranging from retail, all the way to IT consulting. But with each new profession and experience, his passion for writing only became clearer. So finally in 2007, he made the decision to folow his long held dream and become a writer.
His inspiration is taken from several diverse areas. Such as old pulp fiction novels, comic books, cult horror films, and even the occasional Japanese monster flick. He then loves to balance these extreme sources with his subtle, and sometimes dry, sense of humor. This mix helps give his stories a very human element that all readers can relate to and enjoy.
Now residing in Downtown Chicago, he spends his days working in IT Sales, but his nights are consumed with writing new stories and articles for various online publications including LintCoat.com. He’s also an active member of the local writing community, honing his skills at the legnedary, Second City. And the writer/co-host of the weekly podcast, “Lingo: A Geekly Podcast”. Which boasts a world-wide audience, and loyal fan base.
Though busy as all this makes him, he is curently writing his first novel. And is working hard on fullfiling his life long dream of becoming a well-known author.
